Assessment
This module is available in several forms, and the assessment depends on which of these you are registered for.
UG 30 CATS: 1 x 3,000 word essay (40%) AND 1 x 3,000 word student-devised project鈭� (40%) AND seminar contribution (25%)
PGT 30 CATS: 1 x 4,500 word essay (75%) AND 1 x seminar contribution (25%)
PGT 20 CATS: 1 x 3,000 word essay (75%) AND 1 x seminar contribution (25%)
鈭� what this 'student-devised project' means is that you have more options to develop a format for this piece of writing that suits you best. If you prefer, it can be a 3,000 word essay, but it can also be a more creative piece of annotated travel writing of your own devising or some other output. The format you choose would be discussed in one-on-one meetings with me and be subject to approval in advance.
