Faculty Collaboration Fund
In 2026-27, the Faculty Collaboration Fund can provide small grants of up to £300 for student networks in the Faculty of Arts to support joint events or initiatives. The aim of the fund is to encourage cross-Faculty collaboration and foster creative partnerships across departments.
How to Apply
What qualifies for funding
To be eligible, your proposed activity must involve collaboration across Faculty of Arts networks or groups, for example:
- Two networks from different departments
- A department network and a Faculty-level network
- Two Faculty-level networks
- A department network working with a student group from an Arts department that does not currently have its own network
Application process
To apply, please provide the following:
1) A brief proposal (200–300 words) including:
- Aims and objectives: what you hope to achieve and why
- Nature of the activity: what you plan to do and when
- Nature of collaboration: who you’ll be working with and how the collaboration will work
2) A list of proposed expenditure, outlining what you would like the funding to cover.

All spending must comply with the University’s expenses policy. Claims will not be reimbursed for any expenditure that does not meet these requirements. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and decisions communicated promptly.
