Welcome to Nat Das Neves Rodrigues
We are happy to welcome Nat Das Neves Rodrigues who joins the IATL team as an early career fellow.
Nat is an IAS/IATL Early Career Fellow, with her time being split between pursuing her research goals on ultrafast spectroscopy and delivering innovative interdisciplinary teaching at the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ.
Project Grant Award
Congratulations to Nick Monk, for being co-awarded a grant of €999k for the project ‘ENHANCE- Enabling Humanitarian Attributes for Nurturing Community-based Engineering’. The project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices; Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education.
New IATL/IAS Early Career Teaching Fellows

Welcome to the two newest members of the IATL team – Dr Nese Ceren Tosun started with IATL in April and was recently awarded her doctorate. Nat das Neves Rodrigues Lopes will be starting in September and was recently announced as a winner of this year’s WATE-PGR.

Congratulations to all the recent recipients of the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE) and ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ Awards for Teaching Excellence for Postgraduates who Teach (WATE-PGR). Special mention to IATL’s Elena Riva who also won the Butterworth Award; IATL module convenors Roxanne Douglas, Paul Prescott and Carolin Debray; and IATL staff funding recipients Russ Kitson and Nat das Neves Rodrigues Lopes!
Book Launch- 'Rethinking New Womanhood'

Congratulations to Dr Saba Hussain, one of our module convenors ('South Asia in Britain', IL030), who has contributed to a recent book, 'Rethinking New Womanhood'. There will be a book launch on 27th June, 1-3pm, at Social Sciences- Room A0.23.
