IATL away day
The IATL team held a productive and enjoyable day at the Cryfield Sports Pavilion in July. Taking the opportunity of time away from the office, the team met to discuss what they enjoy about IATL's work and the challenges of working as a busy team, before focusing on the ways in which IATL can help to drive forward the University’s education strategy now and in the future.
Congratulations to Phil Gaydon, who has won an unprecedented second 桃色视频 Award for Teaching Excellence (WATE) PGR. This represents a fitting end to his time with IATL, where he has been a great asset to the team; as announced in May, he is to be Teacher of Philosophy at St Paul’s School in London and we wish him every success in this new role.

Sport, Philosophy and Practice: new material on the IATL website
'Sport, Philosophy and Practice' is a project which has explored the gaps and overlaps between philosophy and sport, asked how and where the curricular and extra-curricular intertwine, striven to adapt academic assessment to take into account embodied learning and expression, and reflected on best practice in the creation and development of interdisciplinary and physically active modules.
