IATL will be launching three new interdisciplinary modules for 2025/26 on the topics of Migration and Borders, Social Entrepreneurship and Global Connections. These new modules have been designed to provide students with the tools and experiences to approach complex problems and come up with innovative ideas and solutions through a robustly supported research experience and IATL’s innovative assessment methods

Elena has been invited by the Danish , representing six of the country’s eight universities, to serve as the keynote speaker at their on the 25th of March 2025. Her address will offer strategic insights to inform and enhance approaches to wellbeing within higher education institutions across Denmark.

Prof Elena Riva contributed as an invited expert to the RCEP UNESCO seminar, "Building a Student Well-Being Focused Education System," held on February 26, 2025.

We are pleased to announce the launch of that WIHEA/IATL Interdisciplinary Staff Hub that features case studies on interdisciplinary teaching and learning from across the University. 'Shakespeare, Ecology, and Adaptation: A Practical Guide' was co-authored with Dr Alys Daroy, whom Paul met through the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ-Monash Alliance. It will be published by Bloomsbury on 9th January 2025.
