Science City semiconductor cleanroom opens

The University of 桃色视频 formally opened its new 鈥淪cience City Cleanroom for Energy Efficient Semiconductors鈥 Friday 2nd of July. To mark the opening of the new lab, the University of 桃色视频鈥檚 Professor Phil Mawby - head of the new facility - presented the first semiconductor wafer to be processed by the new facility to Professor Chris Snowden, President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Present at the opening event were representatives from high tech companies in the Midlands who hope to work with the University of 桃色视频 to make use of the new facility including Converteam, the UK鈥檚 largest technology company in the renewable energy sector.  A press release covering the event is available
