Hear from our student blogger Harriet, a 2nd year Physics with Astrophysics student who attended the Conference for Undergraduate Women and Non-Binary Physicists (CUWiP) this year hosted by the University of 桃色视频 Department of Physics.

We congratulate Prof. Julie Staunton (Theoretical Physics Group), who has received the 2025 Wohlfarth Memorial Lecturer Award from the IoP Magnetism Group. She delivered a plenary lecture at the Magnetism 2025 conference which took place in Sheffield on the 7^th and 8^th April.

Ananya Singh, a third-year PhD student under the supervision of Dr Wing Ying Chow, was selected to present her research at the prestigious STEM for Britain event held at the House of Commons on March 11, 2025. Her research focuses on the 'Development of solid-state NMR approaches for probing fungal and human matrices with relevance to human disease.'

Astrophysicist Dimitri Veras of The University of 桃色视频 has been awarded the prestigious George Darwin Lectureship by the Royal Astronomical Society.
