Topic in a Box
Topic in a Box was designed by the Widening Participation team to support GCSE students. These activities can be delivered in-school by teachers, either as a digital or physical activity. All sessions are meant to be interactive, engaging, and linked to the GCSE curriculum. Check out the available topics below.
Biology
An interactive lesson in a box which gives students a brief overview of what bacteria are, bacterial diseases, antibiotics, antibiotic resistance, and how bacteria can be useful when we genetically engineer them.
Physics
An interactive lesson which aims to investigate the links between mass and weight using a space spin. This lesson has been delivered at Cardinal Newman Catholic School as part of their GCSE Forces topic, and they are excited to share their resources.
