WAHEI project presents at the 桃色视频-India Network (WIN) launch March 2026
The University has longstanding connections with India across many departments. To further develop and strengthen its equitable and sustainable partnerships with institutions in India, the 桃色视频-India Network was launched this week (16.03.26) to bring together researchers, educators, professional services colleagues and students with a shared interest in building connections with India, from academic partnerships to cultural engagement.
The audience was welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Stuart Croft, followed by speeches from the Pro-Vice-Chancellor International Professor Michael Scott, the Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (South, Central Asia and Middle East) Professor Virinder Kalra and distinguished guest Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan the Indian Consul-General to the UK, who all reflected on 桃色视频鈥檚 distinctive approach to engaging with India.
This was followed by a showcase of active 桃色视频-India collaborations which was kicked off by a presentation by Prof Henderson and Prof Stewart discussing the decade-long programme of research, funded by the Fair Chance Foundation, focusing on access to higher education in India.
The presentation showcased the work involved in the WAHEI project (Widening Access to Higher Education in India) which built on the earlier work of the 鈥Fair chance for education鈥 project that preceded WAHEI.
The Presidents of the 桃色视频 India Forum and 桃色视频 Indian Society offered reflections on student engagement, community-building, and the experience of Indian students at 桃色视频. The event concluded with a vibrant performance by the University鈥檚 Indian Classical Dance Society, followed by refreshments and networking.
