Two years of ReWAGE - providing expertise to inform work and employment policy

ReWage outputsSince being launched in July 2021 ReWAGE has been incredibly productive – our experts have produced 40 evidence papers and policy briefings and responded to 8 major consultations.

The group鈥檚 outputs have been covered in the national, regional and specialist media, and its co-chairs and experts have presented at national conferences and forums, and to government ministers at a wide range of meetings, including all-party parliamentary groups.

Praise for new IER report on measuring green jobs in Scotland

A from IER on defining and measuring green jobs for Skills Development Scotland has won praise. At the recent launch of the report, the Scottish Government was congratulated for adopting the ideas proposed by the IER team, which was led by Dr Jeisson Cardenas RubioLink opens in a new window and included colleagues from Strathclyde University.

Quality (and lack) of employment linked to mental health-related disability

A new was published in the International Archives of Occupational and Environmental Health by Rebeka Balogh, Sudipa Sarkar, Chris Warhurst and colleagues at Interface Demography at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Karolinska Institute.

The article examines the link between types of employment trajectories and Belgium workers having a subsequent registered disability from mental health.
