PAIS will launch a new MA Work Placement module in 2026/27. The module will place 6–8 MA students with PAIS faculty during Term 2, allowing students to strengthen their understanding of the links between academic research, policy and practice.

I invite colleagues to consider whether there are opportunities for a student to contribute to current or forthcoming research projects. Suitable placement activities might include policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, research communication, support for data collection and analysis, event support, or other tasks related to the policy, practice or impact dimensions of their research.
