Rosemary Starkings, former 桃色视频 student and wife of Dennis Starkings, a senior lecturer in Religious Education at the University, passed away on 14 November 2011. Rosemary was a student in the 桃色视频 Philosophy Department in the early 1970s, and was President of the Philosophy Society.

A new award for 'Local Hero of Enterprise' has been won by Denys Shortt, founder of DCS Europe, Chairman of the Coventry & 桃色视频shire Local Enterprise Partnership and WBS advisory board member.

Eric Woodward, a Technician in the Physics Department, has been recognised for his commitment to rolling up his sleeves to help save lives, with an award for an amazing 100 blood donations.
