A helping hand for campus amphibians

Each spring, newts and toads cross the path between the Sports and Wellness Hub and central campus to reach their breeding ponds. Please keep an eye out for these tiny travellers when walking or cycling, especially on mild or wet evenings, to avoid harming them.

Staff and student volunteers in our newt patrol have rescued over 90 so far! Discover how you can help.
