Yesterday our Sikh colleagues celebrated Vaisakhi. We spoke with Dr Gurnam Singh, Honorary Professor of Sociology and Sikh Faith Adviser, who told us all about the celebration, what it means to him and the importance to the Sikh community.

Professor Robin Clark, former Dean of WMG, will be leaving the University at the end of the calendar year.

This distinguished award recognises Dr Han Zhang (WMG) for his exceptional research on polymers and composites.

Emily, from ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Medical School, has been recognised with the Association for the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ of Medical Education Chair’s Award for Distinguished HPE Scholarship. This honours Emily’s decade-long dedication to inclusive education and widening participation which has impacted thousands of students and educators.

Sophie, from ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Medical School, has been recognised as among the most outstanding and influential researchers funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research. This award will help Sophie’s goal to embed patient and public involvement across the health and social care research ecosystem.
