Meet the winners and those highly commended in the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Awards for Public and Community Engagement -recognising the vital contributions ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ staff and students make in engaging with people locally, nationally and internationally.

As part of the team’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, they hosted successful summer barbecue for residents at a Salvation Army facility. 

ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ has been ranked 13th in HIGHERiN’s 2026-27 Top Universities for Work Experience – a rise of four places since last year.

Dr Natalie Diddams (Theatre and Performance Studies) is running workshops in Coventry to help women write jokes and prepare for a live showcase, as part of a project exploring why so many women underestimate their own comic ability.

Professor Caroline Meyer (Provost) and Dr Petra Hanson (ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Medical School) were celebrated at the Coventry Health and Wellbeing Awards last week, with both receiving awards for their outstanding contribution to health and wellbeing.

Introducing 12 new Fellows of the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Institute of Engagement, from a variety of faculties and disciplines, who will champion, promote and improve all things public engagement at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ.
