WMG at the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ and Loughborough’s School of Business and Economics will be working with West Midlands Mayor Andy Street on a new project aimed at reducing the amount of industrial CO2 in the Black Country.

Students from six local schools were welcomed onto the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ University campus for the first in-person outreach event since the covid-19 pandemic. The event, featuring marathon runner Nick Butter, was part of the University’s wide-ranging programme of activities designed to break down perceived barriers, challenge myths about university, and encourage young people to aim high.

On 6th December, the new Faculty of Arts Building will open its doors to students, staff and the public. The £57.5m eight storey building, designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and constructed by Bowmer + Kirkland, brings together a diverse and international mix of minds from all walks of life, creating the optimum environment for generating a universe of ideas.

Scientists from the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ will be leaving their labs and striding on stage next week to entertain and amaze audiences as the Christmas Lectures series returns next week.

The General Medical Council (GMC) which oversees the training of doctors in the UK is set to approve a new course at Chester Medical School, developed with the support of the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, which will see it producing doctors to help transform health care across Cheshire, Wirral, Shropshire and beyond.
