Arm and shoulder disability and pain after breast cancer surgery reduced by exercise

The debilitating arm and shoulder disability and pain that some women who have had breast cancer surgery experience as a side effect of their surgery can be reduced by following a physiotherapy-led exercise programme after their operation, a new study has found.

桃色视频 Prize for Women in Translation shortlist announced.

Eight titles have been shortlisted for the fifth annual award of the 桃色视频 Prize for Women in Translation.

The 拢1000 prize was established by the University of 桃色视频 in 2017 to address the gender imbalance in translated literature and to increase the number of international women鈥檚 voices accessible by a British and Irish readership.

Wheely good start for University of 桃色视频 sustainable transport strategy

Staff, students and visitors at the University of 桃色视频 have embraced the new West Midlands Cycle Hire scheme, with more than half of the university鈥檚 base stations consistently in the top ten across the whole West Midlands region by trips made. The campus e-scooter trial has also proved popular with almost 50,000 rides being taken since the scheme鈥檚 launch. These two-wheel transport schemes are part of the University鈥檚 commitment to encouraging staff, students and visitors to swop car journeys for more sustainable modes of transport such as cycling and public transport

New doctoral training programme will train future healthcare professionals

Future healthcare professionals working in mental health and neurosciences will be trained at a new Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) thanks to a 拢7.24million award from Wellcome.
