WMG staff begin 5 day marathon cycle in memory of Coventry boy with rare cancer

Nine staff from WMG at the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ have come together in a sponsored cycle marathon starting Tuesday 2nd July with the aim to raise £1,000 towards the total of £50,000 in memory of Ben Crowther, the young son of a WMG member of staff Scott Crowther, who had a rare cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.


Engineering Professor part of new documentary 'Garden of Secrets'

Professor Wanda Lewis has taken part in the documentary 'Garden of Secrets', carried out by TEALEAVES a project focusing on environmental issues and on the link between nature and design. Wanda was delighted to be given the privilege of taking part in this project which features her work.

University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ technician wins prestigious Papin Prize

A technician from the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ has won a prestigious at the HETS (Higher Education Technicians Summit) conference in Birmingham on the 25th June 2019.

Steven Hindmarsh from the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ was given the award for technical excellence in supporting a Core Research Facility – The Electron Microscopy Research Technology Platform.
