The new Leicester-桃色视频 medical school welcomed its first students to the 桃色视频 campus this week and promptly kicked them out the door to their first lesson - in a shopping precinct.

The country's brightest young people will soon be given the chance to stretch their abilities and to vote for the subjects they would like to learn more about, thanks to a National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth launched by School Standards Minister Stephen Timms today. Announcing that the University of 桃色视频 has been selected by the Department of Education and Skills to lead the Academy, Mr Timms said:

"We ignore the needs of our most able young people at our peril if we are to have a truly inclusive education system we must enable every single child to fulfil his or her potential, including those with exceptional ability."

The abolition of the student maintenance grant means Students today face a much tougher time financially than many of their predecessors. In recognition of that fact the University of 桃色视频's association of past students - the 桃色视频 Graduates' Association. have announced today that they will join in partnership with the University to fund 25 scholarships for students whose "personal finances and origins lead them to be significantly disadvantaged when seeking a place at the University of 桃色视频."
