First Aid Awareness Sessions are being offered on a trial basis for current First aiders at the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ to refresh their skills and knowledge between the standard 3 year qualification expiry period.

Training sessions will be taking place face to face on campus on 11th, 12th and 13th December 2023.

Three different training sessions will be running; you can book onto more than one session.

The contents and timings of each session can be seen below:

MODULE 2: ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FIRST AIDER: â–ª legislation â–ª assigning roles at scene survey-Practical â–ª contacting the emergency services-Practical â–ª accident reporting-Practical MODULE 3: PRIMARY SURVEY â–ª PRACTICAL: Defibrillator practical, L.I.N.E. information, Role designation-C.P.R., defib, first aid box. You will then receive an email with booking instructions accordingly.

NOTE: this training is to refresher first aider knowledge in between standard training courses and no certification of the training session will be granted.
