The University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ diverted 9.5 tonnes of items from waste, reused 6.6 tonnes, and raised over £5,100 for charity in their end-of-term Donation Drive.

The University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and the circular economy by partnering with Maris Interiors and Tarkett in the ReStart® program, successfully recovering 4,737 kilograms of carpet tiles from Riley Court to reduce waste and extend material lifecycles.

Radcliffe has been reimagined with a sleek, sustainable makeover, embracing the circular economy to refresh existing furniture—delivering a modern, high-end space while cutting costs and slashing carbon emissions.

The Donation Drive is a project to reduce the environmental impact of move out by making it easier for students to donate unwanted items before they leave campus. This proactive system prevents waste, reduces the University’s carbon footprint and supports incoming students and local charities.
