The Dept. is delighted to report that Dr. Paul Cuff, an alumnus of our Film and Literature BA degree, who went on to complete an MA and a PhD with us, and remains an Associate Fellow of the Department, features on the new BFI Bluray and DVD of Abel Gance's anti-war classic J'Accuse.

Paul completed his PhD at 桃色视频 in 2011, and is now internationally recognised as a world-leading scholar of Abel Gance and silent cinema.

Dr. Helen Wheatley has written a blog about an exciting new project she is organising:

The Department is delighted to be welcoming back Rachel Wood (Class of 2010) as the Alumni Speaker at Graduation this coming Monday 17th July! Rachel is currently working as a Senior Producer at Sky News and will be sharing her experiences as a 桃色视频 Graduate at the ceremony!

The 桃色视频 Film and Television Studies Dept. has come 2nd in the Guardian 2018 league table for Media and Film Studies, with an overall score of 99%. The University of 桃色视频 came 8th in the overall university league table.

The Dept. of Film and Television Studies are very proud to announce that two members of staff were award winners at the recent BAFTSS (British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies) awards. Dr. Helen Wheatley's book 'Spectacular Television' won Best Monograph and Lucy Bolton and Julie Lobalzo Wright won Best Edited Collection for 'Lasting Screen Stars'.
