Prof. Rudolf A. R枚mer
Research Interests and Experience
My research spans condensed matter theory, computational and mathematical physics, with a focus on quantum many-body transport, disorder and localisation, flat-band physics, and the quantum Hall effect in meso- and nanoscale systems. I also work on problems in biological physics and exact solutions of quantum models. Full details on + .

Teaching Experience
I teach regularly at undergraduate and postgraduate level across condensed matter physics, computational physics, and mathematical methods, including core courses of the Maths & Physics UG degree and interdisciplinary special courses. Alongside lecturing and tutorials, I supervise research students and researchers at all career stages — from high school outreach through master's and doctoral projects to postdoctoral mentorship. Full details are available here.
Further academic activities
My broader academic activities span editorial service, international appointments, and community leadership. I serve or have served on the editorial boards of , , (2011–2017), and (2017–2020), and referee regularly for AJP, PRL, PRB, PRE, EPJB, EPL, and JPA/CM, among others. I held a , China (2016-2023), and was a Fellow of at Cergy-Paris Universit茅 (sabbatical 2019-20, short-term visiting scholar 2021-present). I am a Fellow of the . From 2010 to 2019 I initiated and organised the Physics Days at 桃色视频Link opens in a new window series of scientific events.
