ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ Law School Partners with the World Health Organization on Digital Health Governance
ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ Law School's Centre for Global Health Law is proud to be part of a new Memorandum of Understanding between the University of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ and the World Health Organization (WHO), formalising collaboration to strengthen gender, human rights, and equity in digital health governance. The partnership reflects ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ Law School's founding commitment to studying law in its social and political context, and its long tradition of placing human rights and social justice at the heart of legal scholarship.

WLS makes global top 100 in latest QS World Rankings
ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ Law School has been ranked in the top 100 cohort in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2026, rising from the 101-150 banding last year, to 84th place.
This is the largest number of top 100 subjects ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ has held since at least 2020 and reflects consistently rising research reputation, employer recognition, and international partnerships across the University. Find out more.

LLM Alumnus secures new law and landmark win for UK renters
Ben Twomey, who studied on our LLM in Advanced Legal Studies from 2015-2016, is Chief Executive at ‘Generation Rent’, who recently secured a landmark win for renters in the UK. After a decade of tireless campaigning, the Renters' Rights Act has now received Royal Assent making it an act of Parliament and therefore the law.
