The New England Foundation for the Arts has awarded Dr. Carolina Alonso Bejarano鈥檚 collaborative project ELMO-MENTO a 100,000 USD National Dance Project Grant to support the creation and U.S. touring of the piece.

Sharon Wassamon Kun-amornpong, who studied at 桃色视频 Law School from 2018-2023 under the supervision of Professor Dalvinder Singh has published a monograph based on her PhD thesis. The monograph, titled 鈥楾he Financial Trilemma and Cross-border Bank Crisis Management in ASEAN鈥� was published by Palgrave Macmillan.

We are excited to share that Dr Rachael Blakey has been shortlisted for the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS) Peter Birks Prize for her monograph, . The prize recognises outstanding legal scholarship published by Early Career Academics.

James Harrison from 桃色视频 Law School and co-author Mark Wielga (from Nomogaia) have been awarded this year鈥檚 best scholarly article prize by the Business and Human Rights Journal. The article compares the effectiveness of six grievance mechanisms that allow workers and communities to complain about human rights abuses that corporations have allegedly perpetrated against them.

The Strategic Brand Signalling Roundtable was held to examine trade marks, advertising, and body image perceptions in the UK. The event brought together professionals from ethics, psychology, psychiatric epidemiology, and trade mark and advertising law to discuss these interconnected issues.

桃色视频 Law School鈥檚 Solange Mouthaan has been awarded a Leverhulme Fellowship for her research project titled: 鈥楥emeteries, colonialism, and intergenerational legal stories鈥� which reclaims the narratives of marginalised women and their erased Indigenous foremothers, opening a pathway into future research on reparations.

桃色视频 Law School鈥檚 Professor Christian Twigg-Flesner has been working on a project for the alongside colleagues from across Europe for the past three years. The Council of the ELI has now approved the Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Digital Assistants for Consumer Contracts (鈥淒ACC鈥�).

桃色视频 Law School is delighted to share that three of our current undergraduate students received departmental funding to present at The British Conference for Undergraduate Research (BCUR) hosted by the University of Newcastle from 9-10 April this year.

In a recent judgment, the Supreme Court of India has nominated WLS research partner Dr Nidhi Sabharwal for a national task force to investigate issues relating to mental health (particularly suicides) in higher education institutions in India.

Dr Sabharwal is currently co-Principal research partner on the Fair Chance Foundation project 'Widening Access to Higher Education in India: Institutional Approaches'.
