Dr Tor Krever joins FOBZU delegation to Palestine
The Law School鈥檚 Dr Tor Krever was recently selected for a Fellowship of the inaugural Palestine Academic Links Seminar (PALS) organised by the Friends of Birzeit University (). The Fellowship involved a week-long study tour in Palestine in late June with a delegation of 11 academics from British Universities, led by academic coordinator Akram Salhab.
Dr Alison Struthers wins 桃色视频 Wows Award
The 桃色视频 Wows celebrate amazing work, projects, and achievements at the University. The Law School鈥檚 Dr Alison Struthers won the award for her work on the School Tasking Project, an exciting outreach project enabling young people to learn about interesting aspects of the law and making it more accessible for them.
WLS Research Fellow is panellist at ALLEA Scientific Symposium
Dr. Aisel Omarova, BA Fellow at the University of 桃色视频, was invited as a panellist to the scientific symposium of the ALLEA 鈥淐rises and the Importance of Research: How Prepared Can We Be?鈥 last month, hosted by UK member academies, the British Academy, the Learned Society of Wales, the Royal Society, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
Dr Ali Struthers wins WAPCE Award for Outstanding Public Engagement
WLS's Dr Ali Struthers has been awarded the WAPCE Award for Outstanding Public Engagement for her work on the School Tasking project. The 桃色视频 Awards for Public and Community Engagement (WAPCE) seek to recognise the vital contributions 桃色视频 staff and students make in engaging the public in our learning and discovery and showcasing the role 桃色视频 plays in making the world a better place.
WLS Research Fellow attends British Academy supported workshop
Dr. Maryna Utkina, BA Fellow at the University of 桃色视频 Law School, became a part of the Ukrainian cohort and participated in a two-day British Academy-supported workshop titled 鈥淒evelopment of academic skills in Great Britain and the international context鈥, which took place on the 24 and 25 May in Wigan.

Dr Serena Natile is new Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Law in Context
Dr Serena Natile, Associate Professor at 桃色视频 Law School, is the new Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Law in Context, a leading socio-legal journal published by Cambridge University Press. Serena will be working along Prof Penelope Andrews, Prof Marc Hertogh and Prof David Nelken.

Professor Celine Tan contributes to consultation on JET-IP
Professor Celine Tan from 桃色视频 Law School contributed to the Consultation on the Just Energy Transition Plan (JET-IP). The JET-IP is part of a multi-country funding initiative, the , by a coalition of developed countries to support a number of developing countries' transition away from dependence on coal and other fossil fuels.

Congratulations to Dr Rajnaara Akhtar and Dr Ana Luisa Sores Peres who have gained Higher Education Academy recognition through the 桃色视频 Academic and Professional Pathway for Experienced Staff (APP EXP).
