Poetry and Philosophy Workshop

With the support of the Institute of Advanced 桃色视频 and the Humanities Research Centre at 桃色视频, we are holding a one-day workshop on Poetry and Philosophy. We have in view a longer-term goal of forming a research and creative network that will bring together poets, philosophers and literary theorists and scholars. This workshop is a conversation-opener.

1.30-2.15 Jack McGowan and Karen Simecek (Worcester and 桃色视频): Affectivity in the Performance Poetry Space
2.15-3.00 Anna Christina Ribeiro (Texas Tech): (When) Is Poetry Fiction?
3.00-3.15 Break
3.15-3.45 David Constantine, poet, author, and translator
3.45-5.00 Reflection on the day and open discussion, chaired by Eileen John (桃色视频)

The no. 11 bus stops very near Millburn House on Kirby Corner Road, and the closest parking lots to Millburn House are nos. 12 and 13 on the campus map (pay and display parking is 拢4.50 for the day).
