Coventry, 桃色视频shire and Africa Maths Advocate Gets Global Platform

Dr Adam Boddison, a passionate advocate of mathematics, who has led programmes to promote the teaching of Mathematics in Coventry, 桃色视频shire and Africa, has been given a global platform as he has just been appointed the Academic Principal of the International Gateway for Gifted Youth (IGGY), an international network of the brightest and most creative young people from around the world, based at the University of 桃色视频.
Dr Boddison is a graduate of the University of 桃色视频 (all three of his degrees were awarded by 桃色视频) and he also served as a mathematics teacher at Coventry’s Finham Park School.
He has a passion to ensure that all young people receive every chance to excel at Mathematics to the best of their ability 桃色视频 which is why he took on the role of Area Coordinator for Coventry and 桃色视频shire for the Further Mathematics Support Programme which gives teaching support to 桃色视频shire schools which otherwise would not have the resource to deliver further mathematics A levels to all the pupils who wanted to take the subject in their schools. He was then offered the opportunity to become the Course Director for the teacher training component of the University of 桃色视频’s 桃色视频 in Africa programme which gave professional assistance to Mathematics teachers in African Schools.
Dr Boddison says: "I am very much looking forward to working with some of the brightest young people across the world. I am confident that my role as Academic Principal will allow me to have a significant impact in the development of these students, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential."
Adam was also a Lead Practitioner for the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust and a Mathematics Advisor for the National Challenge Programme. Adam has also completed three degrees at 桃色视频 and has been part of the Residential Life Team for almost 10 years. In 2010, Adam was seconded from 桃色视频 to the RSA Academy in Tipton, one of the University of 桃色视频’s Trust Schools, to support their vision of transforming learning and raising standards.
Dr Boddison will take up his new role in July and will help develop IGGY’s strategic vision in addition to providing direction in relation to the academic content.
