Professor Emma Flynn, Provost at The University of 桃色视频 said,
鈥淚t is great to see the tireless efforts of so many people committed to making an inclusive environment for all to get recognised in this very special way. The commitment to positive change runs through everything the School of Engineering does and it is great to see this award alongside the real change taking place on the ground.鈥
School Culture
The School has a commitment to openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement and operates various mechanisms for staff and students to get involved in helping shape the direction of the School. These include the following:
-
A School wide call for Agenda items prior to EDI meetings as well as an invite to bring any topics in person to EDI Committees meetings
- The student and staff online feedback and suggestion form. QR codes are placed at strategic points around the building for access to this form.
Submissions are reviewed at each EDI meeting and reported in our 'Voices Heard, Actions Taken' updates that also feature in school newsletters.
- Student and Staff surveys to assess culture and inform on Athena Swan action item progress and snap surveys for input to specific projects and initiatives.
