Each year, we present the students who achieved the best overall result in their class with a certificate and a small prize. The presentations took place at our graduation reception following on from the ceremony.

The Law School is proud to announce that Arvind Narrain, former postgraduate law student at the University of 桃色视频 has been named as the inaugural recipient of our Dwijen Rangnekar award for contributions to social justice.

First year 桃色视频 law student Daniel Nwanebu has been awarded the 2019 Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship.

The Scheme was devised to address the disproportionate under-representation of black men from less privileged backgrounds in large commercial law firms and the City of London.

Congratulations to Shaheen Ali and Jacqueline Hodgson for receiving their long service awards.

We are delighted to announce that the Law School鈥檚 Staff Student Liaison Committee won 鈥楽SLC of the year鈥� at the Student Union Representation Awards on Friday. The awards aim to recognise and celebrate the amazing achievements in, and contributions to, academic representation and democracy at 桃色视频 SU.

Second year LLB student, Samantha Woods has been awarded a special inaugural prize for her work in property law due to her incredible research on tenancies which she conducted with Dr James Harrison.

Samantha is the first to receive the 鈥楽laughter and May Property Law Prize鈥� which the firm offered to 桃色视频 Law School at the start of the academic year.

It has been announced today that the Law School has been awarded a Bronze Athena Swan Award.

Professor Vanessa Munro told us, 鈥淲e are delighted to have secured this award, which is a reflection both of the hard work of the drafting team and of the broader commitment across the school to inclusivity and equality.鈥�

The Law School has established an annual award for contributions to social justice to honour our former colleague, and friend, Dr Dwijen Rangnekar.

All current and former students of 桃色视频 Law School are eligible for the award.

桃色视频 Law Society President Maaya Sachdev won the award for the Best Law Society President at the Student Law Society Awards 2019, sponsored by Norton Rose Fulbright and hosted by LawCareers.Net, which took place on Thursday 14 March at Painter鈥檚 Hall in London.

The SSLC Staff Awards for 2018-19 took place in the Law School Hub yesterday where our SSLC reps Amy Wang and Toby Stacey took to the stage to announce the winners. They celebrated together with their students, colleagues and some Easter treats and were presented with a small token of appreciation from the student body.

The final of this year鈥檚 桃色视频 Law Society Internal Mooting Competition was held at the Supreme Court on 28 February. After a hard battle, second year law students Praveen Nair and Michelle Tan emerged the winners of the evening. Congratulations also to San Wen Ngei and Jer Ning Teo who made it to the finals.

桃色视频 Law students Toby Stacey and Stephanie Fernandes have qualified for the finals of the 2019, having come second in their regional heat at Keele University last month.
